In the Les Paul section, someone asked about an unusual Les Paul Special so I'm doing a bit of googling trying to find some info on Japanese exclusives. There's a shop in Japan called Ishibashi who are a huge Gibson dealer and will usually have Gibsons you can't get in the US.

All I can say is I'm glad these aren't available here, and especially at these prices. I'd need another house for me and my guitars after my wife kicks me out...

Custom Shop - Futura Reissue - 398,000 Yen ($4,150 US)

Custom Shop - '64 Firebird III Reissue - 358,000 Yen ($3,725 US)

Custom Shop - '65 Firebird V Reissue - 428,000 Yen ($4,450 US)

Custom Shop - Flying V Mahogany - 278,000 Yen ($2,895 US)

Custom Shop - '67 Flying V Wine Red - 198,000 Yen ($2,050 US)

Custom Shop - Flying V Standard Washed Cherry - 298,000 Yen ($3,099 US)

Custom Shop - '67 Flying V with Maestro - 283,000 Yen ($2,949 US)

Custom Shop - Flying V Custom - 479,995 Yen ($4,989 US)

That's only from the first three pages (of 8) and only the "Designer" models. I didn't even get into the Les Pauls, SGs, or hollowbodies.

I've never dealt with them personally, but I've heard many stories of people who have and had nothing but good things to say about them.

As far as the conversion 100,000 yen is about 775 euros. That means the Firebird III is around 2780, the wine red V is around 1550, and the flame top V is about 2300 euros.
