Anyone have any info on these (or any other left handed Explorers in general) ? My new guitar player is in search of a lefty Explorer, and these studio X-plorers are the only recent/modern ones I've ever seen in a LH configuration. I showed him the new "reverse" Explorer - thinking he could just flip it - but he thinks they're ugly.

I saw a thread about LH Explorers some time back. Your pal's right, the 'reverse' has a hideous headstock. IIRC LH Gibson ones are very uncommon to very rare, but Epis are relatively more common.

Myself, I've always wanted to flip a lefty explorer & see what it looks & feels like to play.

All I can tell you is, the one pictured is an Explorer Pro, specifically. Slightly smaller, more lightweight body, and differently-angled control knobs.
Proudly Canadian.
